Check-In Steps

Stop what you're doing. Eye contact. Before they say a word.

Name, date, number of holes. Every customer, every time.

Confirm before assigning a cart — it affects rotation on busy days.

Assign cart number
Write cart number on the sign-in sheet next to their name.

Payment in Square — then the key
No exceptions. If they push back: "I just need to get you checked out and you're all set."

Hand over key + scorecard
Offer the scorecard, don't just leave it on the counter.

Send-off
"Start on Hole 1, keep pace — about 2 hours for 9. Enjoy your round."

If something's left behind: check the sheet for the cart number, call the customer immediately.
